James Everett Stanley received his MFA from Columbia University in 2005. He attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture and has been awarded fellowships from the Marie Walsh Sharpe Foundation Studio Program and the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown. His work has been shown at Freight and Volume Gallery in New York, Fredric Snitzer Gallery in Miami and elsewhere. James will have his third solo exhibition with Kinkead Contemporary in April 2011.
